“Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Isaiah 43:19 AMP

Change is not easy on most people, but there is comfort in knowing God has gone ahead. I am sure everyone at one point or another in our lives have felt trapped, or stuck, with nowhere to go and waiting. Waiting for a better job, financial freedom, or a new opportunity.

The bible has clear instruction for us when things are changing, and that is surrender. Surrender to the will of God, let Him take the lead and watch as he breaks down whatever has been keeping you from receiving what you have been waiting for and dreaming about.

It sounds easy enough, so why is it we are all waiting so long? Is it pride, or fear or something else that is holding you back from receiving all that God has for you in this season of change? Let go of the past and look at what’s in front of you. Take the first step to go forward knowing God has gone before you. Your destiny is in front of you and not behind you.

I really feel that even I need to take a minute or two and ask God what is holding me back from stepping through the door to new opportunities in my life. I also think I need to repent and ask forgiveness for letting my fear and pride stand in the way. I am so thankful that God is so gracious to forgive and come to my rescue.

Here is today’s prayer:

“God I thank you for leading and guiding me. I thank you for opening new doors of opportunity. I ask forgiveness for not trusting you more. I surrender my heart and will to you today. Please come and breakthrough the spiritual walls that have hindered me from drawing close to you. I ask you to bless me and my family and let abundance flow to us and through us today. In Jesus Name Amen”
