I have been in an intense struggle with fear and anxiety. I have prayed and been in the word of God much during this time. Everyday the grip of these negative feelings has weakened. 

Gods presence has been so strong and ever present through my emotions and negative thoughts. Today God reminded me of this amazing image. 

My son watches this lion king spin off show called “The Lion Guard“. The first episode the King Simba’s son inherits this roar from his ancestors. It is very powerful and causes the ground to shake and a fierce wind against its enemies. It echoes through the lands very loudly. God reminded me that his roar is like this. It causes the enemy to run and those who trust in him to remain in his safety. This roar gets the attention of all the animals on the show, good and evil. I feel like God is releasing a roar from heaven to get our attention and call back his children that have gone astray. 

“They shall walk after the Lord, Who will roar like a lion; He Himself will roar and [His] sons shall come trembling and eagerly from the west.”

Here is a short prayer if you feel like God is roaring to get your attention and calling you back to him. 

“Dear God,

Thank you for never leaving me, and always being faithful to me even when I go astray. I repent and ask for your forgiveness in turning to other things for comfort. I thank you for returning my focus to you and your plans for me. Please help me to remember that you are Lord of all and the enemy is defeated.
