Wonder Woman:

I have been in an intense spiritual battle the past season. The Bible talks all about demons and angels. I have encountered my fair share of both in my life. This past season I have experienced these encounters more intensely.

Ephesians 6:12
“For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”

The Bible also talks about how God speaks to people through dreams, now I believe God still does this today. “And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams.”

My dream:
I was in my childhood home, in the main bedroom of the house and a demon appeared. I tried to go get my mom and brother, but for some reason I was unable to leave the room. All of a sudden the demon charged at me and I put my hands up and it hit an invisible force field and fell into a pit of darkness. I then of course Woke up and started praying to God. God has told me several times since this dream that I am like Wonder Woman and our spiritual armor mirrors her armor.

I looked up the attributes of Wonder Woman on wikepedia and they are as follows:

* Superhuman strength, speed, durability, and longevity
* Flight
* Skilled hand-to-hand combatant
* Utilizes Lasso of Truth, indestructible bracelets, boomerang tiara, sword, and shield

Like Wonder Woman we have a supernatural shield which is God himself:

“AFTER THESE things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great.”

“Happy are you, O Israel, and blessing is yours! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the Shield of your help, the Sword that exalts you! Your enemies shall come fawning and cringing, and submit feigned obedience to you, and you shall march on their high places.”

“But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.”

I believe our sword and lasso of truth are the word of God which is sharper than any two edged sword. In Ephesians 6 it talks about putting on the armor of God. Leave it to God to make a comparison of Wonder Woman with the armor of God That is in the Bible. Now may favorite part of Wonder woman’s armor is her boomerang tiara. Wow, that God would crown us with a weapon as well as being crowned as women of God. People who are crowned are significant, of royalty, highly valued. It’s so overwhelming that God sees me this way.

I believe that many women are struggling with fear, anxiety and depression. God wants you to recognize your supernatural strength and the power of your weapons. God wants to release security and comfort to you in place of negative emotions. Some people may not believe that fear is a demonic spirit, but the Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:7 “But God did not give you a spirit of fear, but love, power and sound mind.” So I believe the Bible, I have been in battle with an actual spirit of fear. I also believe there is hope for you and freedom in Jesus Christ.

I also believe we are to raise up our daughters and granddaughters in this mindset. This is for us to release in the generations ahead! God has told me several times it is time for us as women, daughters and princesses to take our rightful place in the kingdom of God!

So declare and proclaim 1 Timothy 1:7 over yourself. Proclaim and ask God to show you that He is your shield and protector today. Whenever negative emotions try to press in go back to your sword which is the word of God and proclaim truth over yourself and your fears. I pray you see your significance today, not only for yourself, but for your daughters sake also.
